Jesus
(John 1:1-14) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through
Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the
life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness
did not comprehend it. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him,
and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive
Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children
of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of
the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became
flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
(Isa 9:6-7) For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
(Isa 53:2-12) For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.
(Jer 23:5-6) "Behold, the days are coming," says the LORD, "That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
(Mat 16:13-16) When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
(Luke 23:4) So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find
no fault in this Man."
(Luke 23:47) So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God,
saying, "Certainly this was a righteous Man!"
(Mark 14:61) But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest
asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?"
Jesus said, "I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right
hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven."
(Mark 13:26-27) "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds
with great power and glory. And then He will send His angels, and gather together
His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest
part of heaven."
(Luke 9:26) "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son
of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's,
and of the holy angels.
(Mat 26:52-53) But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?"
(Mark 1:23-26) Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are; the Holy One of God!" But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.
(Mark 1:40-42) Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed." As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
(Luke 7:12-15) And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep." Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise." So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
(John 4:46-53) So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe." The nobleman said to Him, "Sir, come down before my child dies!" Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, "Your son lives!" Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him." So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." And he himself believed, and his whole household.
(John 7:17) "If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.
(John 7:46) The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this Man!"
(John 8:12) Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
(John 8:58) Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before
Abraham was, I AM."
(John 14:6) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(John 14:7) "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him and have seen Him."
(John 14:11) "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me,
or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
(John 14:12) "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the
works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because
I go to My Father.
(John 14:13) "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the
Father may be glorified in the Son.(John 14:14) "If you ask anything in
My name, I will do it.
(John 14:15) "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
(John 14:16) "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another
Helper, that He may abide with you forever;
(John 14:17) "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because
it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you
and will be in you.
(John 14:18) "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
(John 15:15) "No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not
know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things
that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. "You did not choose
Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and
that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He
may give you.
(John 15:17) "These things I command you, that you love one another.
(John 15:18) "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before
it hated you.
(Acts 5:31) "Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
(Rom 6:4) Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that
just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so
we also should walk in newness of life.
(Rom 6:5) For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death,
certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
(Rom 6:6) knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body
of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
(Rom 6:7) For he who has died has been freed from sin.
(Rom 6:8) Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with
Him,
(Rom 6:9) knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more.
Death no longer has dominion over Him.
(Rom 6:10) For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the
life that He lives, He lives to God.
(Rom 6:14) For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law
but under grace.
(Phil 2:9) Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name
which is above every name,
(Phil 2:10) that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven,
and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
(Phil 2:11) and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
(Heb 9:11) But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with
the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of
this creation.
(Heb 9:12) Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He
entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
(Heb 9:13) For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling
the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,
(Mat 26:26-29) And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."
(Mat 27:11-54) Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" So Jesus said to him, "It is as you say." And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head. And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified. Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: "They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots." Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!"
(1 Cor 15:3-7) For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.
(1 Pet 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
(Heb 9:14) how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead
works to serve the living God?
(Heb 9:15) And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means
of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant,
that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
(Exo 33:14) And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give
you rest."
(Rev 11:15) Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
(Rev 21:4) "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
(Rev 22:13) "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
