Heart of God
(Psa 33:5) The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of His unfailing love.
(Psa 5:12) For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
(Psa 78:38) Yet He was merciful; He forgave their iniquities and did not destroy them. Time after time He restrained His anger and did not stir up His full wrath.
(Prov 1:33) But whoever listens to Me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."
(Heb 12:5-8) And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone He accepts as a son."
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
