OBEDIENCE

Isa 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land
but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword."
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. (NIV)

Heb 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch
over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their
work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no
advantage to you. (NIV)

1 Thes 4:1 Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to
please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge
you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. (NIV)
1 Thes 4:2 For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of
the Lord Jesus that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way
that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know
God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him.
The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. (NIV)

1 Thes 4:7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

1 Thes 4:11 Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own
business and to work with your hands, just as we told you,
so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so
that you will not be dependent on anybody. (NIV)

1 Thes 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. (NIV)
1 Thes 5:16 Be joyful always; pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
