PROTECTION
(Deu 7:15) The LORD will keep you
free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you
knew in Egypt, but He will inflict them on all who hate you.
(Ezra 8:31) On the twelfth day
of the first month we set out from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem. The hand
of our God was on us, and He protected us from enemies and bandits along the
way.
(2 Sam 22:28-41) You save the humble,
but Your eyes are on the haughty to bring them low. You are my lamp, O LORD;
the LORD turns my darkness into light. With Your help I can advance against
a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield
for all who take refuge in Him. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is
the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way
perfect.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He enables me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You give me Your shield of victory; You stoop down to make me great.
You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn.
You armed me with strength for battle; You made my adversaries bow at my feet.
You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes.
(Job 5:19-24) From six calamities
He will rescue you; in seven no harm will befall you.
In famine He will ransom you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the
sword.
You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction
comes.
You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the
earth.
For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals
will be at peace with you.
You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property
and find nothing missing.
(Psa 34:19-34) A righteous man
may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all; He protects
all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Evil will slay the wicked; the
foes of the righteous will be condemned. The LORD redeems His servants; no one
will be condemned who takes refuge in Him.
The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, seeking their very lives but the LORD
will not leave them in their power or let them be condemned when brought to
trial. Wait for the LORD and keep His way. He will exalt you to inherit the
land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
(Psa 86:7) In the day of my trouble
I will call to You, for You will answer me.
(Heb 13:6) So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
(Psa 116:6) The LORD protects the
simplehearted; when I was in great need, He saved me.
(Psa 145:19) He fulfills the desires
of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.
(Psa 147:6) The LORD sustains the
humble but casts the wicked to the ground.
(Isa 41:10-14) So do not fear,
for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen
you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose
you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will
not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For
I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel,
for I Myself will help you," declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy
One of Israel.
(Psa 4:3) But know that the LORD
has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to
Him.
(Psa 4:8) I will both lie down
in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
(Prov 1:33) But whoever listens
to Me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."
